Children's Ministry
Most children's spiritual beliefs are in place by age 13. That's why West Valley Missionary Church is committed to reaching children with the life-changing, good news of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide a variety of opportunities that kids can relate to (such as BIBLE Ventures, Kingdom Builders, Super Saturday and more) that will help them become followers of Christ, serve others, share their faith, worship God, connect with the Bible, and build strong relationships with family and friends. Kingdom Builders
Helping kids live as fully devoted followers of Christ. That's the purpose of Kingdom Builders, the mid-week children's ministry of West Valley Missionary Church. From September to May, KB kids go on exciting Bible learning adventures aimed at helping them meet, know and serve Jesus. Each week's games, crafts, crew time, worship, Bible teaching, service projects and Blueprint (a take-home of daily devotions, Scripture memory and family builder activities) are all valuable tools in helping your child grow closer to Christ. Men's Ministry
The purpose of the men's ministry exists to assist men in becoming full devoted followers of Jesus Christ. The men's ministry hosts various events throughout the year: Saturday breakfast meetings, fundraisers, small group Bible study opportunities and service projects. Missions
This special ministry is aimed at raising awareness of our missionaries around the world and making sure that our missionaries are covered in prayer. They meet every first Thursday of the month at 7:00pm at the church. Anyone is welcome. Our church currently supports nine missionary teams. Read More...
Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry is designed to meet the needs of the church family through prayer. We have two prayer chains that can be activated simultaneously. There is the Phone Prayer Chain and the new Email Prayer Alert. Each is designed to make sure that each prayer request is spread quickly and confidentially. Senior Adult Ministry
The Senior Adult Ministry (also known as SAM) meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 12:00pm in the church library for a carry-in potluck dinner. This is a special time for seniors 55 and older to get together, encourage one another, and even pray for one another. Read More...
Women's Ministry
The women meet the 1st Saturday of the month at 9:00 am at the church. They start with a special devotional from the Word of God, have a special time of sharing and prayer, and plan upcoming events hosted by the Women's Ministry. And there are usually treats to share! Youth
The youth group meets each week on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the church sanctuary. It is an excellent time to get to know one another, be encouraged in the faith and have some fun. All youth in 6th through 12th grades are invited to come. There is also a BIBLE VENTURE class designed for the youth every Sunday morning at 9:25 in the Pastor's office. Read More...
Calvary Mission
Every fourth Thursday we hold a worship service at the Calvary Rescue Mission in Yakima. You can enjoy uplifting music, prayer, and a Biblical message. After the service you can enjoy a family style dinner prepared by the Mission. Everyone is welcome to attend this special event each month. The Mission is located at 1223 S. 6th St. in Yakima.
